Recession Busters #60 Food, Fun and Frugality

I enjoyed watching Clara's stories and recipes. Here is one that sounded like I may try.
Depression Cooking: Pasta with Peas (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DuMkW35BwK8)
I hope you enjoy Clara as much as I did.
I have seen people join together to create gardens in my neighborhood, to save money on groceries. Many people are taking fewer trips in their cars, combining errands, even carpooling to do some of them, to save money on gasoline.
Coupons in almost any form of fashion are welcomed by not only me, but most I know.
We do not go out nearly as often as we used to, whether for dinner or entertainment.
Picnics in the backyard are a nice departure from the regular dinner meal time.
Have fun.

Pot Luck #55 Getting the Most Out of Facebook

I already have a Facebook account. The name is Cindy Joe Messina - so people will know it is for us as a couple, as Joe (my husband) won't get one of his own. I've added family and friends and even Deborah (my boss) to the friends list there now.

I've added 2 apps, smilies, which I think I can use to show people I think of them, and a game: Age of Castles. I'm not sure if I'll have much time to devote to that though, so she may die there.

I did learn a lot about the apps, and privacy issues with this module.

I mostly use Fb to keep up with my 2x adn 3x friends who have very busy lives.
